4. Project & Experience
I led the CAD design and iterative development of a modular exoskeleton and hand brace, optimizing motor integration and manufacturability. I refined the design through multiple 3D-printed prototypes, ensuring mechanical integrity and functionality.
I conducted structural analysis in ANSYS to evaluate the deformation of the aluminum handle and 3D-printed bolt head. I optimized the design for durability and manufacturability, ensuring mechanical integrity under applied loads.
I CNC-machined standoff mounts to provide structural support and ensure sheet metal clips sat flush within precision-milled pockets. I iterated the process four times, measuring critical dimensions to maintain tight tolerances before assembling the final components.
